In short… Adword’s is Google’s way of allowing individuals and businesses to promote their web site, by posting adverts online. Each time a web user clicks the advert, the business is billed for that click; if the advert is not clicked, no charge is made. It is, understandably, known as PPC advertising, which stands for Pay Per Click… and may also be known as Pay Per Action, Cost Per Action, Cost Per Click… etc.
What is the Keyword Tool?
Keywords are one of the foundations of the Google Adwords program, and effective selection of those keywords is absolutely crucial. When a web users search queries tie in with those keywords present in your advertising campaign, your ads are served to their screen and are therefore exposed to potential click-through.

So what’s new with the keyword tool…?
The keyword tool now provides data pertaining to search volume, for the month preceding. According to Google’s Adwords blog…
“Now, when you use the Keyword Tool to search for relevant keywords to include in your keyword list, you’ll be able to see the approximate number of search queries matching your keywords that were performed on Google and the search network. These approximate numbers are intended to provide better insight into keywords’ monthly and average search volumes than previously provided by the tool.”
