Digital Items Banned on eBay… But Don’t Panic
eBay Policy Change
It would seem that eBay have had a radical rethink of their policies involving the sale and distribution of digital goods; ie eBooks, MP3, software etc, and anything which we would previously have delivered via direct download.
The main problem with this lies in the inability to automate the ebook process now, meaning all ebook sales must be delivered in a physical format - burned to disc, hard copied to paper etc. Not the end of the world, though it’s likely that a rethink will be required to restructure your current operation.
eBay Classified Ads
As things stand, and we’ll have to wait for some clarity from eBay themselves, it may still be possible to migrate your eBook business to eBay Classified Ads instead. Things will be clearer in the days ahead, though for now, the best thing to do is to stay calm! ;o) No need to panic… Classified Ads should be a part of your arsenal of money making weapons anyway, as their extremely useful for list building, when used in conjunction with the likes of Aweber’s awesome list building service. If you’re unsure of how to harness the power of eBay’s classified ads, then you should be joing Jim Cockrum’s “Silent Team” immediately - this resource is an absolute “no brainer” as far as I’m concerned. Looking for inspiration as to how to make money using eBay? - and you should be! Then join the “Silent Team” today. I cannot over stress the importance of this resource.
Check out Aweber, if you haven’t already done so, by clicking the banner below. Highly recommended also!

Outsource Product Delivery
It’s possible to outsource the delivery of your physical products, which is something that Skip McGrath has been doing for years. I remember my first major product purchase, from Skip, which was a study binder full of wisdom on how to set up a physical eBay store, selling items on eBay for other people. The content of the binder, whilst designed by Skip himself, was printed by an “outsourced” company, and delivered via airmail all the way to Scotland ;o)
So, if you have a current eBook arm to your eBay business, then it’s likely you’ll have to adjust. If you’re yet to launch your ebook business, then just be satisfied in the knowledge that your new system will be given lots of attention by the blogs, meaning lots of new wisdom to help you get started. Look on the bright side!
So, what are you waiting for? Established or not, now’s the time to get busy by giving attention to your eBook business on eBay.
Go, go, go!
